The previous chapter of Sakamoto Days began with Oki and Nagumo fighting until they finally sat down at a cafe. Just as the campurn drinks were being served to them, the two resumed the fight, with Nagumo throwing a fork at Oki and kicking him.
The Order leader blocked the attack and criticized Nagumo for not allowing him to drink coffee first. In the hilarious scene, Nagumo then asked Oki to pay the bill, after which the two exited the café and went back to fighting in the air. Oki seemed to refuse to pay the bill, and they decided that whoever survived this fight would have to pay it.

Finally, at the Kansai Assassination Academy in Kyoto, a girl by the name of Shiina and her brother are recruited by the abru JAA and split up with their friends. Just as the two are talking about how to make a name for themselves in Tokyo, they are approached by their new mentors, Torres and Gozu.
