Synopsis Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man tells the story of Denji who was robbed of his normal teenage life, left with nothing but a huge debt left behind by his father. His only friend at the moment is his pet, a chainsaw demon named Pochita, with whom he kills demons for money that inevitably ends up in the pockets of the yakuza.
All Denji can do at the moment is dream of a good life and a simple life with delicious food and a beautiful girlfriend by his side. But a greedy act of betrayal by the yakuza leads to Denji’s brutal and untimely death, destroying all hope of achieving happiness.
Remarkably, an old contract allows Pochita to join the dead Denji and bestow demonic powers upon him, turning him into a hybrid capable of turning any part of his body into a chainsaw.
As Denji’s new abilities posed a significant risk to society, the elite demon hunters from the Makima Public Security Bureau took him in, letting him live as long as he could obey their orders.
