Synopsis The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity tells the story of how despite their close proximity to each other, Chidori Public High School and Kikyo Girls-only Private Academy seem to exist in two different worlds.
While the latter boasts an immaculate reputation and favors students from wealthy backgrounds, the former is a hotbed for ignorant criminals. Everyone in Kikyo harbored a deep sense of resentment towards their neighbors in Chidori.
Sixteen-year-old Rintarou Tsumugi is a student at Chidori whose intimidating face keeps people away from him.
Rintarou does not care about this, as he is content with his group of friends. However, there was something he had not told them before, he often helped out at his family’s cake shop.
One day at work, Rintarou saw a customer at a table, but she ran away before she could speak to him. The next day, he received an apology from the girl, Kaoruko Waguri, who explained that she did not run away because of her appearance and that she believed Rintarou was a kind-hearted person.
Although he is unfamiliar with Kaoruko’s cheerful personality, Rintarou hopes to form a friendship with her. There is only one obstacle standing in his way, Kaoruko is Kikyo’s student!***
