
Arisunime — The original anime film L’étoile de Paris en Fleur released its latest teaser trailer Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
The site also announced two additional cast members, in addition to the previously announced Ami Toma as the main protagonist, Fujiko Tsugita.
Rina Arashi was announced to voice the character of Chizuru Sonoi, a girl Fujiko meets in Paris.
Meanwhile, Taichi Satome will play Ruslan, a young Russian man who lives in the same apartment as Fujiko in Paris.
L’étoile de Paris en Fleur is scheduled to air in Japan from March 13, 2025.
Goro Taniguchi who previously worked on One Piece Film Red will direct the film which is based on a concept created by Taniguchi and Katsuya Kondo who previously worked on Kiki Delivery Service at Arvo Animation.
Yu Yamashita designed the characters for the animation, Reiko Yoshida wrote the screenplay and Takayuki Hattor did the music.
L’étoile de Paris en Fleur tells the story of two Japanese girls who want to give up on their dreams and reach for the stars during the tough times of Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter, and Chizuru, who has a passion for ballet. They meet each other by chance in Yokohama and are then led by fate to reunite in Paris in the early 1900s, where they strive to pursue their dreams together.***
