Arisunime — Talulah emerges in Arknights as a tragic and fiercely driven figure—taken by force from her family as a child, manipulated by Duke Kashchey into becoming the instrument of persecution in Ursus, and eventually ensnared in a cycle of violence she neither asked for nor fully controls.
As the hidden heir of Zagreus, she is separated from her sister, labeled a bad omen in Lungmen, and raised by Kashchey to become the “Deathless Black Snake.” In an act of desperate defiance, she deliberately infects herself with Oripathy to escape his control, only to end up possessing the very powers he sought to instill in her.
On the run and disguised, she builds Reunion alongside her loyal caretaker Alina, forging a movement committed to championing the rights of the Infected—but every act of rebellion deepens her own wounds and guilt, especially after she unwittingly causes Alina’s death and unleashes devastation on those she once protected.
Confronted by Amiya and Ch’en in a climactic struggle, Talulah faces both Kashchey’s lingering influence and her own fractured soul, ultimately breaking free—but not before irrevocably altering the path she walks. In that moment, she realizes that while she may not yet be worthy of redemption, she is not yet worthy of death either, choosing to live on until she earns the right to die, “the end.”***
