Arisunime — The main visual and PV for the yuri anime This Monster Wants to Eat Me, adapted from the manga by Naekawa Sai, are scheduled to premiere on October 2, 2025.

The main visual features Yaotome Hinako with Omi Shiori and Yashiro Miku in the center, capturing a peaceful moment along the beach. Meanwhile, the top part of the visual depicts Hinako standing alone. There is also a tagline: “Overcome with sadness, this hope I cannot tell anyone.”
In the main PV, Hinako’s story begins to unfold as Shiori appears and whispers meaningfully, “Don’t you think humans are the best time to be eaten?” The next video clip shows Miku caring for Hinako, as well as a young Hinako crying. The video also depicts Hinako’s past and the complex emotions of Shiori and Miku as they suppress their feelings for her.
The opening theme song will be performed by Yoshino titled “Nie,” while the ending theme song will be performed by Hinako titled “Lily.”
This Monster Wants to Eat Me is a story about the fate of humans and monsters that begins when Hinako, whose flesh is so delicious it attracts many monsters, meets Shiori, a mermaid who appears before her.***
