Arisunime — The anime film adapted from Shinji Ishii’s Toritsukareotoko has released its main trailer and visuals.
The trailer also features the theme song “Fanfare” performed by Awesome City Club, and an insert song performed by Masaya Sano, who also plays Giuseppe, and Moka Kamirashiraishi, who plays Pechika, titled “Fanfare ~ Koi ni Ukarete”.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on November 7, 2025.
Synopsis:
The story centers on a young man named Giuseppe, who is called “Toristukareotoko” by the townspeople because once he gets absorbed in something, he can’t see anything else. One day, he falls in love at first sight with a balloon seller named Pechika. He becomes obsessed and tries to approach Pechika, but Pechika harbors sadness in her heart and… For the sake of the beloved Pechka, Giuseppe and his companion, the mouse Cielo, secretly resolve her concerns using various tricks that have become his obsession.
