
Arisunime — Patriot, whose real name is Buldrokkas’tee, is the last Wendigo Sarkaz to lead Reunion as commander and the central character in Episode 07 of the Arknights main story. Born in Kazdel, he is a direct descendant of the Wendigo king and is known as a guerrilla leader in armor who uses a large spear and a sturdy shield to protect his Shieldguard troops. Patriot is not just a powerful trooper, but an accomplished general who is also known for his brilliant military strategies while fighting for the oppressed Infected in the land of Ursus.
As the narrative of Episode 07 (“7-18: Death of a Patriot”) unfolds, Patriot emerges as both an enemy and a major tragic character, fighting Rhodes Island at the height of the Chernobog-Lungmen conflict. He opened his role by pushing his troops forward, providing ATK and DEF buffs to Reunion units, and being a living shield for all the soldiers around him. His physical toughness is unmatched-his armor and shield are resistant to almost all classic and Arts attacks, and his “Marching Stance” ability makes him hard to shake.
But behind her strength, there was a human and tragic side; her Oripathy (Originium infection) was slowly destroying her physical condition-a congealed throat, partially petrified scalp, and rapidly declining health. Despite the suffering, his determination never waned. Even as his army was shaken by Talulah’s rule, he remained Reunion’s “last conscience”, striking a balance between loyalty to the Infected people and vigilance against his group’s extremism.
Patriot reached his peak against Rhodes Island-Kal’tsit, Amiya, and Rosmontis-attacking them with all his might as his Originium power waned. In the final moments of life, he foresees a dark vision of Amiya as Theresa’s successor and “Lord of Fiends”, but then chooses to let her live in a final act of rejecting the apocalyptic prophecy against Terra. As such, his death is not just a physical sacrifice, but a moral symbol that despite his enemies, his humanity and human values are still remembered.
